Four youth drown as boat overturns near River Indus

NOWSHERA: Four youth drowned when the boat they were riding during picnic overturned near the bank of Indus River during Eid holidays, police sources said.
They said that seven youth from Shaidu town in the Nowshera district had gone on picnic to Hazrat Baba Jee when their boat overturned.
All of them were swept away by the gushing water of Indus River.
The divers of the Special Services Group reached the spot and started a search for the youth.
They rescued three of them while bodies of the remaining four persons were retrieved after 24 hours hectic efforts. The bodies were shifted to Shaidu for burial.
