Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed deep sorrow over Bahawalpur tragedy in which 150 people were killed in oil tanker fire and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
LCCI president Abdul Basit, Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa and acting President Muhammad Nasir Hameed Sunday said the government should find out reason to avoid such incidents in future. The whole nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the affected families. The LCCI office-bearers prayed that Allah Almighty rest the departed souls in peace.
PTU: Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in oil tanker fire at Ahmad Pur Sharqia, Bahawalpur on Saturday morning. In a press release PTU leaders Ch Muhammad Sarfraz, Rana Liaqat Ali, Jam Sadiq and others termed the incident a national tragedy ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr and said schoolteachers shared grief and sorrow of the aggrieved families.
