Four-member FIA body formed on JIT complaint

ISLAMABAD: A four-member investigation committee of the FIA was formed on the complaint of JIT which is carrying out probe into Panama Papers case.
A notification in this regard was issued on behalf of FIA DG Ahmed Latif. Director Anti-Corruption Wing Headquarters Maqsoodul Hassan was appointed head of this committee, while Deputy Director Tahir Tanveer, Ayaz Khan and Farooq Latif are the part of this committee.
In the Supreme Court, the JIT had levelled charge on the SECP of tampering record in Panama Papers case.
On it the Supreme Court had directed the FIA DG to form committee to investigate these charges. The notification of this committee was issued in the light of direction of the Supreme Court.
