Ulema stress unity for Umma’s stability

Ulema, religious scholars and leadership of different religious organisation, while addressing Friday congregations to mark "Youm- e- Tahafuz Harmainal Sharifain Al-Aqsa" stressed that stability and security of Muslim Ummah lies in mutual unity.

The entire Muslim world should have to get united for the security of Harmain Al Sharifain and for freedom of Masjid  Al Aqsa. Elements making conspiracies to create divisions in Muslim world will be foiled and Qatar-Saudi rift should be settled through dialogues.

Ulema commenting on Qatar-Arab controversy further stated that both the countries should settle differences through the Gulf Coordination Council. Youm-e-Tahafuz Harmain Al Sharifain and Al-Aqsa was observed here on Jumatul Wida all over Pakistan on call of the Pakistan Ulema Council to express solidarity with cause of Masjid Al Aqsa and to express commitment for defense and security of Harmain Al Sharifain.

Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, while addressing at Jamia Masjid Al Rasheed, I-8, Islamabad from Saudi Arabia through video conference stated that elements aiming at making chaos in Muslim world and in Harmain Al Sharifain should not forget that leadership of Muslim Ummah is not negligent from its responsibility to ensure protection of Harmain Al Sharifain.

Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi also stated that some foreign forces are hatching conspiracies to destabilise strengthened Muslim countries and aiming to target Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, but, with the grace of Allah Almighty, all these conspiring elements will be foiled. “Pakistan has always supported cause of Palestinian people and will continue supporting people of Palestine for the liberation of Palestine,” said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi adding that enemies of Islam are supporting Daesh and Israel to create anarchy in Muslim countries.

To contain conspiracies of these conspiring elements, Islamic Military Alliance has been constituted, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi. He also clarified that Islamic Military Alliance has not been constituted on sectarian grounds and neither this alliance has any intention against any Islamic country. “This alliance has been constituted with sole objective to annihilate menace of terrorism and extremism from Muslim world, said Ashrafi.

Leadership of Pakistan Ulema Council from all over Pakistan addressed at thousands of mosques affiliated with Wafaqul Masajid, Pakistan, all over the country to mark Youm-e- Tahafuz Harmain Al Sharifain Al-Aqsa. Among notable office-bearers of Pakistan Ulema Council, including vice chairman Maulana Ayub Safdar, addressed in Gujranwala, while Abdul Kareem Nadeem in Rahim Yar khan, Maulana Abdul Haq Mujahid in Multan,  Maulana Abdul Hameed Watto in Qila Didar Singh, Maulana Asad Ullah Farooq in Lahore, Maulana Asad Zikriya in Karachi, Maulna Owais  Qasmi in Faisalabad, Maulana Shafi Qasmi in Sahiwal, Maulana Nauman Hashir, Maulana Tahir Aqeel in Rawalpindi, Maulana Hassan Ahmed in Daska, Maulana Fahim Ul Hassan in Sheikhupura, Maulana Abdul Waheed in Narowal, Mian Rashid Munir in Sialkot, Maulana Abdul Ghaffar in Lodhran, Maulana Azam Farooqi in Karachi and Maulana Ahmed Makki in Muzafargarh addressed the Friday congregations.

Ulemas giving the Friday sermons underlined importance of unity of Ummah to contain prevailing challenges of Muslim world. They also said that Pakistan Ulema Council has been making its role for unity of Muslim Ummah and to eradicate menace of sectarian violence from Muslim countries.

They also pointed out that Entire Muslim world has been facing challenges due to foreign interference in affairs of Muslim world adding that terrorist organization, Daesh, is being associated with Islam to malign Muslims all over the world.

Commenting on ongoing atrocities in various Islamic countries, Ulemas also urged on Iranian leadership to get on to negotiations table to resolve differences with Arab countries. Leadership of Pakistan Ulema Council in the Friday sermons also vowed that endeavours on part of Pakistan Ulema Council will be keep continued for unity of Muslim world.

A resolution adopted by leadership of Pakistan Ulema Council lauded Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Amir Muhammad bin Salman for assuming his responsibilities and expressed hope that he will utilise his abilities to address challenges of Muslim and. Muslim Ummah. The resolution also appreciated efforts of Amir Muhammad bin Nayef for annihilation of terrorism, extremism and sectarian violence from Muslim world.

Elements making extremist activities doesn't own affiliation with any particular religion except making killings of innocent people, said leadership of Pakistan Ulema Council.
