Beautiful ruins
The poor condition of the multipurpose sports complex in Islamabad shows the height of negligence of the CDA. The complex is nothing less than a picture of ruins. Its main gate is broken and a portion of wall is damaged, giving a way to trespassers. While the ghost staff is drawing a large amount of salary, the complex is waiting for the concerned people to start maintenance work. The complex is situated in Sector F-11. It is one of the posh areas of the federal capital.
However, it is unfortunate that the sector is being neglected by the CDA. Seventy five percent of street lights in the area are out of order. In addition to reduced lighting, broken roads have also created so many difficulties for commuters. The chairman of the CDA should visit the site to have an idea about the situation. It is surprising that despite receiving billions of rupees, the authorities don’t carry out the required maintenance work. The CDA must take immediate action and provide relief to residents of the area.
