PPP won’t let PM become Amirul Momineen, says Bilawal
LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the PPP will not let Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif become Amirul Momineen.
In a chat with reporters at Bilawal House on Sunday, the PPP chairman posed a question why any action wasn’t taken against the chief minister Punjab whenever he spoke against judiciary.
He said the prime minister was under a real test and he had to select between his Qatari and Saudi Arabia friends. The PPP chairman also predicted some surprises for the PML-N in the Senate polls in 2018 and stated the ruling party would not get the expected support of its parliamentarians in the polls for the Upper House of Parliament. Bilawal is expected to address a gathering of party members at an Iftar reception on Monday (today) in Lahore.
