LAHORE
Punjab Minister for Schools Education Rana Mashhood has said a two-day international education conference will be held in Lahore on October 5 and 6.
Chairing a meeting in the committee room of School Education Department on Tuesday, the minister said the world renowned educationists, experts and representatives of international organisations would participate in the conference.
The aim of this gathering is to share experiences, study and adopt international models of education, he added.
Secretary Schools Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik, representatives of Unicef, Higher Education Department, Punjab Higher Education Commission, Punjab Information Technology Board and other departments concerned were present.
Rana Mashhood said a special function would be arranged in honor of best performing teachers while Teachers Night and cultural activities would also be observed during the conference.
