Punjab CM pays surprise visit to Chiniot hospital
LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached District Headquarters Hospital, Chiniot on Friday without any protocol or prior intimation. The administration remained totally oblivious of the visit of the chief minister. Attendants of the patients raised slogans ‘long live Shahbaz Sharif’ upon seeing him.
On the occasion, different attendants told the chief minister that they knew that he was taking keen interest in the improvement of healthcare sector, and because of his efforts and supervision, remarkable improvement had been brought in the healthcare sector.
They added that the behaviour of doctors and paramedics had improved due to his surprise visits. They expressed their satisfaction over the provision of free medicines and told that medicines were being provided in the hospital. They also apprised the chief minister about other problems and the quality of healthcare facilities.
