NA budget increased to Rs3.82 billion

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly budget was increased to Rs3.82 billion and that of Senate to Rs376.51 million.
As per details, the National Assembly budget for the year 2016-17 was Rs3,468,944,000 which was increased to Rs3,820,442,000.Speakers and deputy speakers of these house were given Rs56,916,000 as compared to last year’s Rs52,262,000.
Their discretionary allowance remained the same at Rs1 million. Leader of opposition will get Rs17,201,000 as compared to last year’s Rs15,615,000. Similarly, Senate chairman will get Rs69,697,000 while last year he was getting Rs62,814,000.
