Trump’s speech

By our correspondents
May 25, 2017

During his visit in Saudi Arabia, the US president asked 40 Muslim countries to isolate Iran. The president also openly declared Iran a terrorist nation and called it the architect of Isis. Why did he dictate all Muslim countries to take a stand against Iran? Why did he blame Iran without any solid proof, and called it the architect of Isis. As far as Pakistan is concerned, Iran is our neighbour with whom we always had cordial relations. It is only in the last few decades that the relationship between the two countries turned sour.

The US president is only diverting the attention of the world from the issues in which he has totally failed. The government should not be part of any alliance, strategy or any kind of policy which is against a Muslim country. Moreover, we have to strengthen our foreign policy by appointing an intelligent, experienced, wise and magnanimous person as a foreign minister. Right now it appears that we do not have a solid foreign policy.
