PESHAWAR: The activists of Pakistan People’s Party, Fata, and People’s Students Federation staged a demonstration here on Monday against the political administration, Lower Kurram Agency.
Led by the PPP Fata leader Malik Jangraiz, Malik Zaman, president PSF Fawad Afridi and Rafiullah, the protesters alleged that innocent people were being harassed in the so-called checkposts. They alleged though there was a ban on the construction of houses, the authorities had allowed people to build houses after getting illegal gratifications.
They demanded immediate transfer of the political administration after holding investigations through NAB. They threatened to launch protest outside the Governor’s House if their demands were not accepted.
