LAHORE: PPP leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsen has said that the allegations of Imran Khan of a Rs10billion offer by the Sharifs can’t be rejected keeping in view their past record.
Addressing a PPP rally in connection with a party campaign against the Nawaz government over its failure to control the power crisis, Aitzaz said the Sharifs had purchased loyalties in the past and Imran’s allegations of the offer by the Sharif brothers could be based on facts.
However, he said if the matter was taken up in court, Imran Khan would have to prove the allegations. He said that after the Panama case verdict, the rulers had temporarily ended loadshedding but it continued in rural areas of Punjab.
