The decision was taken at a meeting of security officers from different missions at the SSU Headquarters on Tuesday.

The meeting reviewed the security measures being adopted by the police on the instructions of the provincial government.

SSU Commandant Maqsood Ahmed said all possible professional steps were being adopted to ensure security for the foreign missions and diplomats. He added that all law enforcement agencies were working collectively to improve the law and order situation and to crack down on terrorists.

The meeting stressed the need for better coordination and communication between the foreign missions and the government agencies.

The participants appreciated the efforts of the government to curb activities of criminals and provide foolproof security to the foreign diplomats and missions.

Commandant Ahmed informed the meeting about the SSU management and administration with a particular reference to training provided to commandos to counter terrorism.
