CJP takes notice of torture on Norwegian national at Islamabad airport

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday took notice of torture on Norwegian National ladies at Islamabad Airport.
The notice was taken on a news item published in a section of the media highlighting that two Norwegian national, expatriate ladies were allegedly beaten and tortured by Immigration (FIA) staff over a petty issue at Islamabad Airport.
Later on, the lady staff with the help of two other officials dragged Norwegian national lady Fouzia to a room where they allegedly tortured her while her mother was beaten publically.
Taking notice of the matter, the Chief Justice of Pakistan has called report from Secretary Interior and Secretary Aviation within three days.
