OPC delegates on visit abroad

LAHORE

Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab, Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti and Director General Syed Javed Iqbql Bokhari visited the Mayor Office and Community Hall, Bologna, Italy.  According to a handout issued here on Saturday, First Secretary Mayor Office Dr Elisvetta Scalambra briefed the OPC delegation on the functions of Mayor Office, Bologna.  Leaders of the Pakistani community in Italy, Khalid Gondal, Asif Raza and other representatives were also present. Afzaal Bhatti extended invitation to Mayor Bologna to visit Punjab. Earlier on the arrival of the members of the delegation of OPC in Italy, leaders and representatives of the Pakistani community received them at the airport.

 

Easter greetings

Dean of Lahore Cathedral Father Shahid Mehraj has said that Easter is the day of hope and victory for those struggling for justice.  He greeted the Christian community on the occasion and prayed for the prosperity of Pakistan.
