Former IGP Jamali, others put on notice in graft case

An accountability court (AC) on Saturday issued notices to former Sindh Police IG Ghulam Haider Jamali, former AIG Fida Hussain Shah and others in a corruption reference of Rs500m.
The former IG and others are facing allegations of making out-of-turn promotions, illegal appointments and misuse of power.
The judge concerned has issued notices to all the accused for appearance on April 19 in order to conduct hearing in the corruption reference.
The reference against the former IG and others is filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
