Police say explosive defused in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The Bomb Disposal Unit on Friday defused explosive planted near a house in Zargarabad locality. The Superintendent of Police, City, Kokab Farooq, told reporters that the local police along with the BDU experts detected and defused explosive weighing around 500 grams which had been planted near the house of Haji Hameedullah of the tribal Mohmand Agency. The official said Hameedullah had received threats months back after which some suspects were also arrested.
