PM greets newly-elected body of APNS
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated the newly-elected representative body of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS).
The prime minister extended his deepest congratulations to Sarmad Ali, President, Kazi Asad Abid, Senior Vice President, Mehtab Khan, Vice President, and Umar Mujeeb Shami, Secretary General.
The prime minister said that the print media had played a vital role in strengthening democracy in Pakistan and the government would extend all possible assistance and support for the promotion and development of free and vibrant media in the country.
The prime minister added that the government believed in the free and independent media which can play an even more crucial role in the progress and development of our country. The prime minister hoped that the elected body would make all possible efforts towards the betterment of the print media industry and the people associated to it.
