No deal has been made; courts releasing Sharjeel and Asim; holds talks with journalists

BADIN: The Peoples Party Parliamentarians’ Central Secretary Information Moula Buksh Chandio has said that earlier it was Chaudhry Nisar Ali who had an eye on Ayyan Ali but now Imran Khan has also kept an eye on her. He said that he did not know what relation they had with Ayyan Ali as they had been beating drums against her.

He said that it was the technique of Imran Khan to remain ‘In’ in the media through bogus news and the news concerning the government-PPP deal was also the result of the same habit. He said that no deal had taken place between the government and the PPP and courts were releasing Sharjeel and Asim, not the government.

While talking to journalists at the press club, he said that Imran Khan fooled his people in the name of ‘dharna’ and ‘shukrana’, and whatever happened in Islamabad dharna was known to everyone. He said that Imran Khan was waiting for raising of finger by any umpire, which had never risen till today.

He said that an Allama was also with him who was wearing a shroud earlier but was now wearing a religious dress. He said that arrogance never yielded good results as earlier the PML-N workers were linking their women’s names to corruption but their own women’s names had appeared in the Panama corruption case.

He asked those chanting the slogan of accountability why they were not holding Maryam accountable. He said that the decision on Panama must come but they wanted the success of the judiciary instead of anyone else and were hopeful of a decision which would bring success to the judiciary. He said that statements issued by the PML-N and PTI tried to make the judiciary controversial.

Moula Bukhsh said that rulers tried to make the army controversial by involving it in politics and those taking credit for the Operation Zarb-e-Azb were offering thanks on General Raheel’s retirement.

He said that the PPP had complete trust in the judiciary and the army but the federal interior minister’s repeated statements about the army and the government being on the same page reflected that something was wrong.

He said that the PPP had done historic work in Sindh; after the Birtish era, no bridge on river was made but PPP has made bridges on three places which is their achievement while the Thar-like project was nowhere in the country.

He said that development in the Punjab was not the matter of one day but Lahore was green since the British era and in the Mughal era it was also green, so the credit for Lahore’s development cannot be given to any single party.

While taking a jibe at the PML-N and PTI, he said the people of PML-N and PTI might be angels but in Sindh only humans were living but all money of Punjab was set on fire in the tandoors of sasti roti.

He said that everyone was aware of Peeli Taxi result and asked who was to blame for the failure of Nandipur. On the other hand, Sindh was a victim of destruction prior to the inception of Pakistan and it is ironic that biased rulers further dragged Sindh to the verge of collapse and blessed a particular province from the resources of Sindh. He said that Punjab was theirs.
