Three injured as boulders hit vehicle in Kohistan

MANSEHRA: Three employees of the Forest Department sustained injures when heavy boulders fell on their vehicle in the Chuchang area of Upper Kohistan on Wednesday.
The officials including forester Abdul Ghani and forest guard Hazrat Bilal were on way in Barabah area when heavy boulders hit their jeep on the Karakoram Highway.After the incident, the locals rushed to the scene and retrieved the injured and took them to the Civil Hospital at Dassu where doctors after emergency treatment referred them to the Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad.
The Chuchang area in upper Kohistan is a highly dangerous point where landslides are frequent that block traffic on KKH between Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
