KP govt to provide over Rs99m to GIK Institute: official
SWABI: The provincial government would provide Rs99.96 million to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology for completion and enhancement of the Incubation Centre Project.
Addressing a gathering at the Incubation Centre at Startup Launching Event, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Science and Technology Secretary Daud Khan said that GIK Institute introduced an innovative idea to equip youngsters with innovative ideas to start own businesses. “It would help create job opportunities and strengthen the economy,” he added. The officials of Directorate of Science and Technology, entrepreneurs, academicians and students attended the event. “We hope more new result-oriented and innovative ideas would come forward which are expected to open new horizons of the business and commerce,” he added. The official said that cooperation and coordination of the KP government with GIK Institute would continue in the future.
