3 held for bomb hoax in Multan school

MULTAN: Police have arrested three people on the charge of informing the Military Control Room about a bomb at a school and security agencies traced the accused through their cell number.
Basti Malook SHO Irshadul Hassan told The News that Bilal, Zubair and Ramazan had made a call from SIM No 0307-86965530 to Military Control Room and informed the officials about a bomb at Basti Malook Government High School on Wednesday. He said that the security agencies took action, traced the location of SIM and arrested the accused. He added that the accused were in lock-up and they would be produced in an anti-terrorism court on Friday. He said that a case had been registered against the accused under sections 25-D of the Telegraph Act and 7-ATA.
Meanwhile, the CPO has ordered the owners of guesthouses, hotels and private rented houses not to provide residence to Afghan nationals. He ordered all the police stations to implement the orders and take action against the violators.
BREACH PLUGGED: The National Highways Authority has partially restored traffic at Head Muhammadwala after plugging the breach made to combat heavy flood a few months back. The Punjab government has provided Rs 55 million for repair. The NHA would complete the work till March 16 and restore traffic between both sides of the bridge.
