New dialysis machines

Punjab Minister for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Kh. Salman Rafique has said the Punjab government is providing best treatment facilities to people with latest treatment and diagnostic facilities.

New hospitals are being constructed in different districts to reduce the workload on the tertiary care hospitals of Lahore, he said and added that during the last three years bed capacity had been increased and a large number of beds included in hospitals. “Government Shahdara Teaching Hospital would be made a model hospital by providing latest facilities and equipment to ensure the provision of quality healthcare to the public at local level,” he said while inaugurating 10 new dialysis machines in the dialysis unit of the hospital on Monday. Punjab Minister for Primary & Secondary Health Kh. Imran Nazir also accompanied him. Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Dr. Fakhar Imam, Malik Riaz MNA, MS Govt. Shahdra Hospital Dr. Pervaiz Imtiaz, President Patients Welfare Society Malik Tariq and a large number of Muslim League workers and the hospital staff were also present.
