‘One-dish’ policy issued for govt events

The Sindh chief secretary Sajjad Saleem Hotiana has issued directives that only one food item is to be served at feasts being organised in connection with official functions of the provincial government.
In a handout issued on Wednesday, it was said that the chief secretary issued a circular among secretaries of government departments and senior officials asking them to duly observe the one-dish regulation at official events and functions.
According to the circular, only one food item will be served at official functions of the Sindh government wherever it is necessary to hold functions for guests. Due disciplinary action will be taken against government officials violating the regulation.
