PM felicitates newly-elected president of Sri Lanka

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday congratulates Maithripala Sirisena on his election as President of Sri Lanka.
The PM felicitated Maithripala Sirisena on his victory in the recently held Presidential Election in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
In a message to President-elect, He described his success as a clear affirmation by the Sri Lankan people in his leadership and vision for his country.
He expressed the hope that the relationship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka would continue to prosper during his term in office.
He underlined his confidence that the leadership of the two countries would be able to further deepen and broaden the bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of our two brotherly countries.
