KARACHI: The first Angelo Lopes T20 cricket tournament, being organised by Karachi Goan Association (KGA), is scheduled to commence at the KGA Gymkhana ground here on Sunday (tomorrow).
The tournament is being organised in the memory of former KGA president Late Angelo Lopes, whose efforts ensured a sense of continuity for the historic sports traditions of Goans of the city.
Twenty prominent teams of the city will be contesting for the top honours in the T20 encounters to be held on league basis. All the matches will be played at KGA ground under the supervision of KCCA umpires.
