The hypocrisy

So the 21st Amendment to the constitution has now been passed into the law. This will ultimately be looked back on as one of the darkest events in the history of our country. We have come to this pass because our politicians, through their sheer ineptitude, incompetence and cowardice, wanted to hold on to whatever little trappings of office they are left with. They have passed an untenable law that effectively declares martial law all but in name.
At least, they could have the decency and courage to take it a step further and actually pass into law a bill that formally ceded power to the military and explicitly banished notions of the due process of law and the right to appeal from our statutes. Never short on hypocrisy, at least the JUI-F and the PTI will claim that they were not a party to this travesty.
