Drug pusher convicted

An additional district and sessions court on Saturday awarded three months jail term to a drug pusher namely Ilyas alias Aali. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs2,000 on the convict. In case of default in payment of fine, the convict will face further jail term of 10 days. Badami Bagh police had arrested Ilyas and seized 300 gram hashish from his possession. Later, a case was registered against him and challan was submitted before the court. —Correspondent
