KARACHI: The total liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country decreased $270 million to $23.344 billion during the week ended December 26 against $23.614 billion in the previous week, the central bank reported on Thursday.
The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) fell to $18.353 billion from $18.574 billion a week ago.
The decline in reserves was on account of external debt servicing. The reserves of commercial banks declined to $4.9 billion against $5.040 billion.
