PESHAWAR: The Local Government and Rural Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has notified remuneration and allowances for Nazimeen, Naib Nazimeen and Member Village/Neighbourhood Council in Khyber Pakhtun- khwa with retrospective effect from September 1, 2015.
A handout said the nazim would be paid honoraria for 2015-16 Rs10,000, telephone charges Rs2,000 and entertainment allowance Rs2,000.Naib Nazim will be paid Rs7,000 and Member Village Neighbourhood Council will be paid Rs200/day/session as honoraria for 2015-16.
It is pertinent to mention here that telephone charges are applicable both on official landline (NTC) as well as cellular (mobile) phones as claimed by the nazim on provision of bill. Only councilors are entitled for per diem against attendance in register maintained by respective secretary.
