MQM has ruined Karachi, says Kamal

MQM enmity towards the country has proven yet people are being befooled by terming MQM founder a national leader and hero, said Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal.
MQM leadership and the government policies have ruined Karachi and it is the need of the hour to bring it back to the life, Mustafa Kamal said. He said refugees living in Karachi are well-wishers of the country but MQM’s anti-state policies have landed them in confusion. He was speaking at the Lahore High Court Bar Association on Monday. Kamal said Karachi is among 10 non-suitable cities for living in the world. He said it did not happen in few days instead it happened due to long anti-Karachi steps. He said he is not here to get any of his illegally possessed land. He said he left the MQM, giving up all of his engagements and lucrative post of senator. He said leaving the MQM he felt as if he had done some good job. He said people spend more than Rs 5,000 million to become a senator but he did not bother this seat.
He said he and his fellows realised about the good path and decided to raise voice against cruelty. He said knowing that he could be a target of MQM leadership even then he did not bother and decided to raise voice against him for the welfare of my country. He said man is mad who abuses in the morning but apologies in the evening.
He said Karachi was a bouquet of flowers, and used to accommodating people from all areas of the country to earn their livelihood. Kamal said he is in Lahore to spread message against the cruel.
“In the beginning they were two persons and now his party is spread in all over Pakistan,” he said and added his party is doing one task and that is not to tell lie. He said 25 million children are out of schools, more than 3.5 lack children go to hospitals due to shortage of food and malnutrition.
He said Pakistan is independent in terms of food and deaths due to shortage of food means there are administrative problems. He said he wants democracy in every street of the country. He said the development projects are executed through local governments in all over the world. Corruption cannot be controlled through NAB and instead it should be controlled through local governments.
He said former governor of Singh continued considering MQM founder his leader but did not left the governorship on his order. He said after leaving the senate, he is doing job to meet his family expenses. During his speech, a lawyer stood up from his seat and started accusing him of killings of lawyers on May 12 but other lawyers intervened and placated him.
