MINGORA: Asking Pakistan and Afghanistan to shun the trust-deficit, Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Ameer Haider Hoti on Sunday said the estrange ties between the two countries had multiplied the woes of Pakhtuns.

Speaking at a workers’ convention at the Bagh Dheri, the ANP leader said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was denied its due share in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).Ameer Haider Hoti said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was passing through an administration crisis, adding that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) could not bring the promised change in four years.

He said that a former chairman of the Ehtesab Commission and a former minister had blamed the cabinet ministers for corruption. He said that the PTI chief had sacrificed Khyber Pakhunkhwa for winning hearts in Punjab. Haider Hoti added that Imran Khan was unveiling the inauguration plaques of the projects launched by the previous government.

He said that the ANP government allocated Rs330 billion for the hydel projects while the PTI government freezed the funds for four years. He claimed the province was bankrupted while projects were handed over to certain capitalists. Haider Hoti asked the government to accept the demand of the tribespeople and merge Fata into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
