PTI actvists join PML-Q

LAHORE

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Labour Wing Punjab President Rana Salim Niaz and a delegation of Social Media Group Lahore called on PML-Q senior leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi at his residence and announced joining his party. 

According to a press release, welcoming them to the PML-Q fold, former Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi said, "We did not make show-off schemes but gave Rescue 1122-like successful projects from which people will benefit forever."

He said revolutionary works done for the welfare of the people for the first time in Punjab were their achievements.

He stressed the need for presenting these welfare projects in a better manner on the social media because this is the era of social media.Pervaiz Elahi said if they got the opportunity again, they would serve the people in a better way than before, Insha-Allah. 

He said, "We also did lot of work on jail reforms, got food and residential facilities for the prisoners improved, and for the first in the history of the country health file of every prisoner was prepared." 

Omar Zia, Tabraiz Arshad, Syed Khawar, Taha Nasir and Muhammad Arshad from those joining PML said that they worked for PTI for the last 17 years and now they were joining the PML-Q as they were much impressed by the leadership qualities and service to the people by Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi.
