First convocation of School of Allied Health Sciences, Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore was held to award degrees to graduates of BSc (Hon.) Medical Lab Technology and BSc (Hon.) Cardiac Perfusion for the years 2011 to 2015.

According to a handout issued here on Thursday, University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor Maj-Gen Professor Dr Muhammad Aslam was chief guest while Chief Executive PIC Prof Nadeem Hayat Malik, MS, faculty members, students and their parents were present. Position-holder students were awarded medals while faculty members were given shields. The chief guest appreciated the standard of education of PIC. Prof Nadeem Hayat Malik announced that degree programme in other specialties of allied health sciences would be started soon at PIC.
