Siraj for establishing fully authorised
commission for accoutability

MULTAN: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq has demanded across the board accountability.
Addressing the District Bar Association here on Thursday, he demanded establishment of a fully authorised commission to conduct indiscriminate accountability of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, former president Asif Ali Zardari, PTI chief Imran Khan, Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf and others. The JI chief also presented himself for accountability. He said that the commission should be fully authorised to give strict punishments to the culprits found guilty in corruption. Sirajul Haq appealed to the lawyers to support the JI corruption campaign by setting aside their party affiliations. He also asked the people to support the campaign to purge the country of the corrupt people. He backed the lawyers’ movement for the creation of a separate province and said that he would support the campaign at all levels. He said that the movement for a separate province was the result of wrong policies of the government that promoted the sense of deprivation among the people of south Punjab.
Sirajul Haq said that the corrupt rulers had deprived the masses of the basic facilities. He criticised the rulers for delaying the Panama Leaks probe. He said that the nation was focusing on the Panama Leaks as the government had lost its moral credibility among the masses. He claimed that the JI was the only party in the country, which was free from any charge of corruption in the Panama Leaks. He claimed that there were $375 billion of the corrupt politicians in foreign countries. He said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a role model for the people. Sirajul Haq reiterated his stance that Pakistan had enough resources to deal with different crises and issues. He said that the government had failed in providing jobs to the graduates and postgraduates. Sirajul Haq paid tributes to Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif for refusing to get extension.
