Youth sets mother on fire

BUREWALA: A youth allegedly set his mother on fire over a property dispute at Chak 501/EB on Thursday.
Naziran Bibi, a widow, distributed a 15-marla plot between her two sons and kept 4-marla for her living. Her son Munir Ahmad started constructing a wall in the house after developing differences with her mother. When her mother prohibited him from constructing the wall, he allegedly beat her with sticks. Later, the accused set her on fire. As a result, she received serious burns. She was shifted to the THQ Hospital. Sadr police have started investigation.
