PHF organises technical courses from November 28
KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is organising Coaching, Umpiring and Technical Officials Clinics simultaneously at Mardan Sport Complex at the sidelines of the provincial round of Inter-Club Hockey Championship on November 28 and 29.
“Innovative and efficient technical skills are the key to improving quality of the game, especially when standardised coaching is carried out at grassroots level,” said Naveed Alam, Director PHF Development and Domestic.
He further said that coaches’ clinic would be conducted by K M Junaid and K M Awais, the umpires’ clinic would be conducted by Syed Kamran Shah, and the technical officials’ clinic would be conducted by Ansar Mahmood.
On the final of the event, the PHF will ‘donate’ two goalkeepers pad, 12 hockey balls and 20 hockey sticks to each participating team of the event.
