LAHORE

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that Pakistan is incomplete until Kashmir becomes part of its territory and added whatever India is doing in Held Kashmir is called genocide and there is no any other terminology for that.

Addressing a seminar organised by Punjab University’s Department of Political Science and Centre for South Asian Studies here on Friday, he said there was no such example of plain and naked brutalities going on in Held Kashmir in any other democratic country.

PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, senior journalist from Indian Occupied Kashmir Murtaza Shibli, Director CSAS Dr Umbreen Javed, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

Sardar Masood Khan said we were determined that we would never surrender on Kashmir. He said there was no terrorist in Held Kashmir rather unarmed Kashmiris were struggling for their freedom.

“This is not a Line of Control between Pakistan and India, rather this is the Ceasefire Line”, he said, adding that India could not attack Pakistan and if she did so, it will be her suicide. However, he said, India had defeated Pakistan on the front of media and communication. He said India had propagated her narrative on Kashmir in an organised and sophisticated manner. He requested students to express solidarity with Kashmiri people via social media and asked faculty members to write scientific research papers on Kashmir issue.

Dr Mujahid Kamran said it was unfortunate that Pakistani media was repeating Indian narrative on Kashmir. He said Pakistani media did not expose non-state actors operating in Indian Occupied Kashmir. He said these non-state actors, including Village Defence Council and IKWAN were killing innocent Kashmiris with the help of RSS. He said our assemblies and Senate must pass resolutions that we would liberate Kashmir from India and we would give Kashmiris their right. Murtaza Shibli said 110 Kashmiris had been brutally killed in the last five months in Held Kashmir. He said in some cases, innocent people were brutally stabbed and stoned to death. He said 1,000 Kashmiris were partially and completely blinded in the recent wave of Indian oppression. He said the genocide of Kashmiris was going on in slow motion in occupied Kashmir. He said China was taking keen interest in Kashmir issue and had issued five statements recently. He said India was not interested in resolving Kashmir issue. He said Pakistan, Kashmir and China must start dialogue process on the issue. He said the governments of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan should give special diplomatic status to the people of IHK. He said Pakistan must depoliticise its institutions established for resolving Kashmir issue.
