Cheaper petroleum products, the lesser consumption of CNG and zero gas for industry should have resulted in the uninterrupted supply of natural gas with sufficient pressure for domestic consumers. On the contrary, the residents of Islamabad are facing the shortage of gas.
The consumption of gas by domestic consumers of Islamabad is high during winters to beat the cold. Winter is coming and the residents of the city are already facing the problem of low gas pressures and unavailability of gas for long hours. The federal government should pay attention to the issue so that the residents of the city can have comfortable winter.
