KARACHI: Geo Super will be televising live and exclusive BPL 2016 starting from November 4th.
The 2016–17 Bangladesh Premier League will be the fourth season of the Bangladesh Premier League, the top Bangladesh franchise professional league for Twenty20 cricket clubs. The league is organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board and will feature seven teams.
The season is scheduled to begin on 4th November, 2016 and to end on 7th December 2016. Two new teams, Khulna Titans and Rajshahi Kings will play in the competition with new ownership after the original franchises had missed the 2015 competition.
One of the most noticeable and important factor of the league is the galaxy of Pakistani star powers playing in different teams of BPL. Such as: Shahid Khan Afridi, Imad Wasim, Shoaib Malik, Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Baber Azam, Sohail Tanvir, Ahmed Shahzad, Muhammad Sami, Mohammad Nawaz, Shahzaib Hasan, Usama Mir, Imran Khan (Junior), Umar Akmal.
Other star powers are: Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite and many more. Geo Super has made special arrangements for the pre/post match analysis in Super Eye. Famous cricketers and cricket analyst have been invited for the in depth analysis of each and every match of BPL 2016.
