Those clashing with lions to be made to run like jackals: Fazl

NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday said those clashing with the lions would be made to run like jackals. He said that thieves raised much noise about others to conceal their own wrongdoings. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had launched a protest campaign despite the tension between Pakistan and India.

Speaking at the party’s youth convention in Azakhel, the JUI-F chief said various methods were being employed to deprive the Muslims of their Islamic identity.“The PTI and Imran Khan are part of the grand conspiracy against the Muslims. The PTI chief is promoting enemies’ agenda,” he said, adding the conspirators wanted to force the Muslims into the slavery of the United States.

He said that founding members of his party had raised their voice against subjugation of Muslims and added that he would resist the attempts to force Pakistanis into the submission of the US.Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked the rulers to utilise resources on the economic development of the masses.

Condemning the terrorist attack on the Police Training Centre in Quetta, the JUI-F chief said those responsible for the security of countrymen should be held accountable. He questioned the performance of security institutions in preventing terrorist attacks, adding how the terrorists reached their targets after crossing several checkpoint.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the provincial government of Balochistan should have admitted its failure in providing adequate security to the PTC, saying that the institute was without a proper boundary wall.

He said that some sections had expressed displeasure over his party’s statements about Pakistan being an insecure state.The JUI-F chief said that Pakistanis were in a fix whether to curse the enemy for attacking them or hold their leaders accountable for their failure to protect them.

He questioned the performance of the relevant institutions, saying the officials concerned should be taken to task for their failure to protect innocent citizens.The JUI-F chief said that the country was under threat from enemies like India but Imran Khan was planning a march on Islamabad.Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Imran Khan was promoting the Western culture through the so-called dharnas and sit-ins.
