Students protest atrocities in IHK

PESHAWAR: The students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir organised a solidarity rally with the people of occupied Kashmir at University of Peshawar on Thursday.

A large number of students of the university attended the rally to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir and express anger against the Indian forces for unleashing a wave of terror against the innocent people of the held valley.

The rally was led by president of Kashmir Students Organisation Saeed Butt, Chairman Gauhar Butt, a former president Altaf Mir, Ishtiq Awan, Najamus Saqib, Haji Sultan and Imtiaz Iqbal Wani.

They chanted slogans against the Indian forces for blatant violation of human rights in occupied Kashmir.The speakers on the occasion said that students of Indian occupied Kashmir were the worst victims of Indian occupation.

“The students paid heavy price for the freedom of Kashmir and the students of Peshawar University salute their courage and commitment to their cause,” said Saeed
Butt.

They said that Kashmir was heading towards a human disaster and the whole valley had been under siege for the last over three months. The speakers said more than one 100 innocent people have been martyred by brutal forces during the last three months and 15000 have been injured by pellet and bullet guns and 10,000 have been detained.
