Track for motorbikes
Motorcyclists crossing the railway track at Jhelum Road, Rawalpindi are frequently getting injured. The account of frequent accidents can be checked from the records of Rescue 1122. It is a universal rule that while crossing rail tracks on a bike, the bike should hit the rail track when it is perpendicular to the track. Motorcyclists fall while crossing rail tracks at an angle other than ninety degrees.
The aforesaid problem can be solved easily by allocating about a 3.5 foot space at one end of the wide road not in normal use, marking the road with small white painted concrete blocks and placing a traffic sign to guide motorcyclists to cross rail track at ninety degree. This may cost a few thousands but will save many from injuries.
