Jordan Army athlete wins race

LAHORE: Ibrahim Hikmat Khalil of Jordan Army won the 3.2 kilometre race in the first International PACES Competition 2016 on Wednesday.
The race started from Askari-10 near the Allama Iqbal International Airport and ended at the Ayub Stadium Cantt. Ibrahim covered the distance in 9 minutes and 38 seconds.
Pakistan Army’s Sepoy Mohammed Naveed took 9 minutes and 43 seconds to secure second position. Chinese Army’s Zhu Kang Xiang took 9 minutes and 46 seconds to finish third. A total of 326 athletes belonging to the participating teams took part in the race.
