Mullagori tribesmen protest water shortage
LANDIKOTAL: The residents of Mullagori on Friday staged protest against Member National Assembly Shahji Gul Afridi and public health officials for not solving their longstanding problem of water shortage.
The protesters, led by Subedar (R) Sabz Ali, marched on Mullagori-Shalman road while holding banners and black flags. They chanted slogans against MNA Shahji Gul and public health department officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabz Ali said the people had voted for Member National Assembly Shahji Gul to solve their water problem being faced by them for the last several years. He said that women in Lwara Mena area fetched water on heads from faraway streams.
He said they have made several requests to the public health department officials and Shahji Gul, but to no avail.
