Four of a family killed in road accident
MANSEHRA: Four members of a family, including two brothers, were killed and 12 other people sustained serious injuries when a mini truck skidded off the road in Khaki area of district on Monday evening.
The family of Noor Mohammad was on its way to Khaki from Bassal area of Kaghan valley to spent the winter season there but the truck they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into ravine after one of its tyres burst.
A woman whose identify was yet to be ascertained died on way to hospital in Abbottabad. Other victims were identified as Janan, 14, his brother Abdul Latif, 5, and Saifullah.
The local rush to scene and shifted all 12 injured to to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital here from where doctors referred eight of them to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad due to their critical condition. The Khaki police registered a first information report and started investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
