Jhagra calls for exercising tolerance
PESHAWAR: Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has urged the people to exercise tolerance and work for betterment of humanity following the teachings of Islam.
“I would like to appeal all the people to exercise tolerance and help bring normalcy and stability to prove that we are responsible members of the Pakistani nation. We, indeed, have the firm belief to be rewarded both in this world and the hereafter for our sincere and devoted services for betterment of the humanity,” Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said in a message on occasion of Eidul Azha.
“Eidul Azha is the second most sacred festival of the Muslims, which carries the message of sacrifice to lead a responsible and successful life,” the governor said, adding that the core spirit of Eid festivities stressed the need to be patient and ready for any sacrifice as a responsible Muslim for the betterment of humanity.
“We, being the followers of Islam, are the true custodians of the noble cause that stresses dignity of humanity. We believe that we would be rewarded for every service that we render for wellbeing of the humanity,” he underlined.
