Licenses of over 100 security agencies cancelled

LAHORE: In the light of the National Action Plan (NAP), the Punjab government has cancelled licences of over 100 private security agencies which did not obtain security clearance from the Special Branch and were termed a security risk, while show-cause notices have also been issued to 40 others, The News has learnt.
The available documents revealed that a total of 387 private security agencies were operating in the province. After cancellation of licences of 103 private security agencies, now 284 private security agencies could operate in the province.
A majority of the private security agencies are being run by retired officials of sensitive institutions.
The licences of the above-mentioned security agencies were cancelled on account of their not having renewed their arms’ licences and not having trained their security guards.
The private security agencies whose licences have been cancelled include Aliya Security, Business Security Technology, Subco Security Management, Karam Security Services, Inzebat, Bultiz Security Services, Taza Dam, Lahore Pride Security System, Condore Security, Spider Security Services, Soft Security Services Management, Seventh Senses Security Guards, Panther Security and Management Services, TSF Security Services, Kohi Noor Security Management Services, Muqadam Security Services, Bashir Saeed Security Services, Comprehensive Security Services, Top Security Services, Frontier Corp Security Services, Okasan Security Services, Top Gun Security Services, Zeenat Security Services, Sabit Qadam Security, Dogma Security Consultancy, Securities, M/S Riaz & Sons Security Services, M/S Pasban Security Experts, M/S Delta Security Management Services, M/S Alhamd Security Enterprises, M/S Anti Terrorists Security, M/S Accurate Security System, M/S Protect Guards, M/S Resource Guards Security Management, M/S Combat Security Services & Management System, M/S Escort Security Services, M/S Progressive Security System, M/S Guides Security Services, Bedar Security, City Defenders, Labaik Security, Ayaz Security, Veteran Security, Public Security Guards, Blue Hawks, Spy Tech, Empire Security, Guards & Escorts, Saif Technologies, ALM Security, PPA Security, Fahim Enterprises, Kiran Security, Dynamic Security, Maaz Security Services, Sprint Security Services, Flash Security, Osprey Security Management, Be Safe, Leopard Security, Four Star Security, Global Response & Services, Mohammed Jay’s Security, Latazar Security, Call Guards Security, Squad International Security Agency, Hayat Security Services, Joint Security Management, Security 99, Onyx Security & Management Services, Lion Heart Security Services, Secure Security Services, Javed & Sons Vigilance Security Services, Sterling Security & General Services and Sun Shine Security Services.
