MULTAN: Pakistan People’s Party-Workers president Dr Safdar Abbasi has said that the PML-N government has failed to provide relief to the people, besides curbing inflation, law and order, joblessness, loadshedding and terrorism.

Addressing a rally at Chowk Nawan Sheher on Friday, he demanded Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif resign from his office. He also demanded constitution of the national government in the larger interest of the nation. He accused PPP leader Asif Zardari of playing a key role in extending rule of the present ‘corrupt’ rulers.

Condemning the Quetta attack, Safdar Abbasi alleged that the government was not fully implementing the National Action Plan (NAP). He demanded probe into the OGRA and Nandipur power plant project scandals.

Safdar Abbasi lauded the armed forces for launching a combing operation in the country. He also praised COAS Gen Raheel Sharif for taking action against the terrorists and demanded him extend the operation to interior Sindh and Punjab.
