Democracy in transition
For the first time in history Pakistan seems to be seriously going on the democratic pathway without any intervention. Keeping this in mind, we must understand that political rivalry can cause irreparable damage to democracy. The Pakistani nation has rendered many sacrifices for the restoration of a democratic culture in Pakistan. The services and sacrifices of the people of Pakistan should be valued.
Nothing is possible in one go. We need time to revive a democratic spirit in the country. Imran Khan should realise that this is not the time to derail the government. Nawaz Sharif also should make himself accountable for the Panama allegations. If political leaders fail to understand that the country is going through a critical moment then danger is inevitable.
